Sun-dried Indian Almond Leaves (Talisay) are great for isopods!
These leaves can be added into terrariums whole, or broken up into smaller pieces. Make sure to have leaves in both the dry and the humid sides. Five leaves will last a few months (for small isopod colonies).
Tip: Baby isopods have an easier time consuming crushed leaves. Take part of a leaf and crush it into tiny bits. Spread the powdered leaf bits all over your terrarium.
On a budget? Take any dried hardwood leaves from an area that's free from pollution and insecticide. Make sure to sterilize (boil, bake, or sun-dry) before using leaves collected from outside.
